How has Sycamore changed and stayed the same? Students become history detectives by comparing streetscape of downtown Sycamore in 1956 to images of downtown to Sycamore today. During the second visit, long time residents share their experiences of growing up in Sycamore.

An Oral History Project: Fourth Grade
Working with the Sycamore History Museum, teachers will explore the process of creating history. Museum volunteers will train teachers on
how to prepare their students for an interview, provide questions, and help teachers find local residents to participate in the project.
