The Sycamore Historical Society, Sycamore Park District, and Kishwaukee YMCA are partnering together at the Engh Farm property (north on Main Street before Peace road).

 The main benefit of the new location will be the Historical Society's ability to accommodate its need for space in exhibits, programs, and collection storage.

One of the goals of the property is to preserve and interpret Sycamore's agricultural history.  This is a very important part of Sycamore's history that is slowly disappearing.  With the Engh farm there will be many possibilities to share this aspect of our community's traditions. The space will also lend itself to unique educational opportunities including a kitchen garden and children's garden that will be maintained by volunteers.
