Current
“Memories from the Farm” is currently on display at the Museum. This exhibit features quotes from local farmers who were interviewed by fourth graders,
and photos from Sycamore High Schools Photo Club. The exhibit received an Award of Superior Achievement from
the Illinois Association of Museums.

Themes explored in the exhibit include: the Engh Farm, changes in technology, family life, social organizations, and women on the farm. There is also a children’s room that features a table
with pebbles and tractors, an 1908
Sear’s Catalog with reproductions items that were “sent” to the Engh Farm.

Upcoming
Opening in August 2010 is an exhibit on downtown Sycamore. This exhibit will explore the people, businesses, and architecture that played an important role in shaping the downtown business community. The Museum is collecting stories, photographs, and artifacts to help tell this story.
