“As we plan for our move to the Engh Farm, we are looking for resources about Sycamore’s agricultural history.  Native Soil helps put Sycamore’s story in perspective compared to local, regional, and national agricultural history,” explained Michelle Donahoe, Executive Director, Sycamore Historical Society.  “Having the author live in the area, I just could not pass up the opportunity to hear him speak, “she continued.

The Brown Bag lunch series is held on the first Thursday of the month, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.  Bring your lunch, and enjoy coffee and cookies provided by the Historical Society.  The program is free, but donations are welcome.  For more information call 815-895-5762 or check out our website at sycamorehistory.org.
