With all that we do at the museum, many people do not realize what talented volunteers work at the museum. I am the only paid staff person, everything else we do at the museum is completed by volunteers. Research  – volunteers; Tours – volunteers; Leading programs – volunteers; organizing the collection – volunteers; scanning/photographing the collection – volunteers; organizing fund raisers – volunteers, maintenance – volunteers. You name it, our volunteers can do it.

But don’t let this list fool you. We can always use more volunteers. As many of our regular volunteers say, they certainly have job security! There a lots of options – behind the scenes in the office/archives, planning programs, organizing fund raisers, or if you prefer working with the public we have programs, docents, and promotional events that always can use extra people to help out throughout the year.

Give me a call! I am pretty sure that if you have the time, I could find a job at the museum that fits your talent.
